Abstract
 
 This qualitative study aims to find out the duties, functions, and responsibilities of higher education institutions require interaction with public as clients partners, so that universities need make internal improvements, among others through improved communication between academic community produce efficiency effectiveness management. Public relation is an effort consciously motivates people be affected, especially communication. It necessary formulate management marketing strategies for maintain image college, therefore it takes good planning, organizing, implementation, control achieve desired goal.
